86 FSB EFI Hot Engine Start Up Problem

86 EFI starts fine when it's been sitting e.g. in the morning, but struggles to start after it's driven a few miles. My uneducated guess is the problem is exacerbated by the hot engine temperature. I have to pump the gas a few times with the starter motor going a few rounds before the engine decides to kicks over.

Any suggestions as to what's causing this?

See if you have any engine codes in the computer first.

FYI with EFI and pumping the gas does nothing unless you hold it to the floor then the computer does not open the injectors.
