Anybody know of anything different for 18'? dilemma of waiting for the news on the 2018's , or swoop up a 2017 at a killer price.

It's too late to order a '17, so you can either buy a '17 from dealer stock, or wait until the '18 order guide becomes available. Order guides usually become available about one week before the order banks open. The '18 order banks open on 9/13 iIRC so the order guide "should" be available this Wednesday. The new order guide will detail all new options for the '18 model year (at least job 1).

Ok cool, good info. Where is that list available? I think I can wait two days to see if anything changes.

Haven't seen any "killer prices" on the 2017's yet (and I have been looking tirelessly). I think it may be a month or so yet till there is any movement. All dealers around here say "invoice or nice talking to you". With all the odd combinations around on dealer stock, I am hedging towards ordering a 2018 because if I am paying the same price, I'll take a new truck instead of an already one year old new truck.

I have heard that the locking tie downs in the bed of the 2017's that are standard, will be options for 2018. I am sure prices will be 2-3% higher as well. And less incentives to start with. And no tax write off for 2017.

Those are some of the reasons I went with a 2017.

Officially it's not available to the general public. The sales manager at my local dealership has printed one out for me everytime I've asked for one. I believe you need some type of login information (fleet maybe?) to access the order guide online.

Unofficially they usually get posted to the forum shortly after they get released as there are several members with the credentials to access it online. Just keep your eyes peeled here. I expect it to be available before the weekend.

I just placed an order for a 2017 on Sat, 9/2. My dealer said that he got an extra allocation for 3 more 2017s. Might want to check with your local dealer.

I just ordered a F350 today (just in case I'm not happy with the repairs on my 250-dealer said he' just sell it if I decide to keep my 250). Dealer also said he believes you may be able to order through the end of September, but wasn't sure, and that they only get about a week's notice before they shut down the ordering process.

I've been told they decided to run the 2017 line an extra six weeks at the factory to meet the needs of all the dealers who lost cars to recent / upcoming storms.
