I think I know now why the dealer could not order Tow Mirrors to fit my specific VIN #. I thought it may be because of BLIS but have seen some posts where some folks got the Tow mirrors and BLIS. I have the 360 camera option. I looked today to find out where the side cameras are. Sure enough they are in the mirror base. I believe the mirror base on the Tow mirrors have to be different. If someone knows otherwise please let me know the part number. Of course if the Tow mirrors have to have the side cameras they will be mucho $$$ to buy from Ford.

I put the strap on mirrors that i saved from my trade in Expedition. They work but I just hate how they look. I was really looking forward to having integrated extendable mirrors.

By the way, I LOVE that 3.5 Eco engine. It gets up and moves.

 

It is possible that you do not have the right wiring harness to accommodate all the features of the tow mirrors. I have the Platinum trim level- my tow mirrors extend and retract, fold in and out, adjust the glass angle, are heated, have cameras, have spotlights, have BLIS, and cost $1368.57 to replace. That is for just one, which Geico just paid for because one of their clients did a number on the entire port side of my truck.

Depending on your trim level, you also may not have the interior window trim pieces, and perhaps the driver's door mirror adjustment controls.
