Hard-to-find parts

Hi all. I am looking for some parts:

1. Vent registers with chrome (bright) edge for 1980-1986 trucks.
The register (I believe) I have is EOTZ-19893-A, which is a plain black and has 5-louvers.
The register I need has a chrome edge (or bright finish) on the outer edge, like the passenger vent in this picture: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/13/a2...451ec29abc.jpg.
What is the part number for the chrome register?

2. Auxiliary heater
What is the part number to the interior trim that covers the aux. heater that sat behind the rear left wheel finder inside the cargo area? and as seen in this brochure picture from Steve83's awesome database: 1983 Ford Bronco 86 Accessories Brochure (Partial) picture | SuperMotors.net. This is all I can find from the Master Parts Catalog (MPC): http://www.supermotors.net/clubs/dow...media/894992_1, but I can't see or tell what is the code for the interior trim piece.

NumberDummy, thank you.

Adding to the list...

I need a 7-blade RV trailer connection and I have a female connector on the wire harness under the truck closest to the rear left stop light. The female connector has a heavy gauge blue, red, and yellow wire which I need to connect to.

The connector looks like the one called "WPT-601 (Tin) 3U2Z-14S411-XXA" on page 16 of this catalog - https://www.motorcraft.com/content/d...-Book-2016.pdf.

To make my own harness to connect to the trailer, what male plug do I need to connect to the female?

Alternatively, is there a factory Ford harness for this? Something like - 1983 Ford Bronco SOLD picture SuperMotors.net - but for 80-86 trucks?

Any trailer stuff you can get locally or thru Etrailer.Com if they don't have it you don't need it.

can't help on the other things.

Is the passenger vent actually chrome, or is that a reflection? Seems strange to have the right side vents "chrome" and the left side black.....

Click on pics twice to enlarge them, then move them around with cursor.

The chrome/bright for the drivers side is located on the dash bezel that surrounds the vent. Just like on the dash that you made the fog light bezel. There’s no provision for chrome on the passenger side so they chromed the vent’s facing edge. At least, that’s what I think Ford did.

Thanks, NumberDummy. I saw that in the MPC but which ones have the chrome edge? Do you think the parts interchangeable in the different vehicles ie would the ones for Aerostar fit the Ranger and the U100 too?

There's no pic of the interior trim that shows anything inre to the auxiliary heater. The heater itself is shown, but you already have this pic.

However, Ford drops pics and parts from the text when parts are obsoleted, the C/D catalog I have was scanned from the 3/1994 final edition.

So you would need to see an older parts catalog pic. The problem is, while I have them, they're on microfiche, plus right now I cannot look, because I don't have them.

September 15/17, 2017: I was at Gary Lewis' residencia in Skiatook OK .. I loaned him all my older microfiche slides, as he wanted them to add the info to his garagemahal.

I see. Gary’s... another great resource. If Gary is reading this, feel free to chime in. In any case, I’ll make contact.

“Ford drops pics and parts...” I thought this was the case, and I believe I have the same scanned parts catalog, judging by the date.

Are the (any) early microfiche catalogs still available anywhere?

Probably, but lots of luck finding them. In a recent experience, found that while 2 of the 23 dealers we stopped at had the viewers (Gary now has both of them), they had thrown away the slides years ago.

September 11-25 2017: The "Odd Couple" took a 2,300 mile road trip in OK & bits of KS & TX

Pic of former Ford dealer in Matador TX shows the Big Dummy sittin' in the rented F150, Mr. Dazed and Confused (ctubutis) took the pic.

I had stopped at this former dealer in 1985, while on my way to the Pate swap meet near Dallas. I discovered that the dealer had closed in 1972, but some of the parts were still there.

If the core number 19893 is the same, is it safe to assume they are interchangeable?

Notice that 19893 is the basic part number for all these registers, be it an Aerostar (A), Bronco II (B), Ranger (R), F100/350, Econoline or Bronco (U150).

The two listed for 1980/86 F100/350 & U150 w/factory installed integral A/C & Hi/Lo Comfort Vent System are: D2OZ-19893-A & E0TZ-19893-A
