I have a couple basic questions about the diff in my 67 F250 4x4. I did a search and couldn't find the answers I am looking for, but full disclosure, I'm not very good at finding things on the internet. **** keeps coming up and I get distracted.
Looking at Fordification, the code on the rear axle translates to a Dana 60 L (locking) differential. Is the "locking" the same as limited-slip?
Also, is it okay to use a 75W90 gear oil in the rear end or should I use the straight 90W? The manual calls for 90W, but I believe oil has improved over the last 50 years since the manual was printed.
Thanks in advance for the help.
