In that case I'll make a cardboard template with the dimensions is yellow and check if it would fit in my window openings.
If it fits, I'll get new glasses, if it doesn't, I have to cut the seals.

Sounds like a good back and forth between you and Mid Fifty working toward a solution or understanding. I ordered windshield rubber for a '56 f100. It was the wrong size apparently from the supplier. They corrected the situation and I was pleased with their service. Pleased until I broke the windshield..............

I think your doors are from an earlier panel van - such as a '48 F1.

Hang on - I'll try to get sone photos for comparison...

Scratch that. Yes, earlier windows are smaller, but you look to have the right ones for the model year.

The correct year doors, the glass came out of those doors, yet the glass is smaller than what others have. Do you still have the rubber seals or part of them to see if they are thicker therefore the glass is smaller? Have you measured the door opening - sorry if I missed that post and am asking again. Maybe good old Henery had different doors for diffenernt plants.
Good luck

Could it be that the previous owner had a different seal that accommodated the smaller glass?

But the question is, why is the glass smaller?

Here is a collection of 53 to 56 panel truck doors. How do these compare to Zolas?

53-56 is the only doors that will fit on the back of a 53-56. It's quite possible the rubber he was sent were cut too long before the ends were joined..

Thanks for the tips!

Unfortunatelly I threw away the old seals, but I can still try to insert the new ones in my window openings.
If they are correct, I have to get new glasses.
John will mail me a template.
