Parents are also a concern. Nancys folks are down the street, they're 91 and 88 so Nanc spends a lot of time running them to doctors and making sure their meds are right.
My mom lives in the house I built up in NorCal which is on the same ranch as my brother so she's taken care of.

Also saddened to hear of her passing. I too thought warm was a requirement, but after some days in neg. °F, a 30 degree, sunny day feels great to expose those pearly white legs in shorts. I’d share a pic, but might blind y’all.

Prepare for whining.
Why o' why o' why can people not do their job these days?
Over a week ago I ordered tensioners, belts and an upper shroud for the F350 from Vista.
I figured since I can't get the shroud anywhere else and I want OE I'd bite the bullet on price and order direct from Ford.
Guy says no sweat, we'll have them in tomorrow. Great because I want to install them the day after tomorrow.
Parts get here and of course one of the parts is wrong. No upper shroud to be seen. Ok, we'll have it tomorrow.
Ok great so I go in the morning after the day they're supposed to have it. Nothing. Sorry we had to order the shroud from Detroit, but it will be here tomorrow morning. I'll call you when it's in. I can come by I say. Don't worry I'll call you.
Ok now my install days are blown and it's going to rain.
No call.
I just called 4 days later and it's in and sitting there.
why can't people do their jobs anymore. It makes me crazy.
End of whine.

Marc,
I stumbled upon a therapeutic way to get this type of situation off of my mind. I have only commented on Yelp once, but it seemed to relieve the frustration. I will definitely be using Yelp in the future.

As Shakespeare mentioned in JC, beware the ides of March.

Great advice, especially for parents today.

Sean, you beat me by over two hours on the Soothsayer's most famous line, but who else remembers these things any more?

They're too busy developing modern parenting skills.

BTW, you and Missy certainly have done well with yours. Which regimen do you employ?

Thx Pop. Old skool works best minus corporal punishment. It a challenge learning to withhold gratification when procrastination comes so naturally at any age.

has cod liver oil been replaced with coconut oil?

Learned something new from Wiki.

The Romans did not number days of a month sequentially from the first through the last day. Instead, they counted back from three fixed points of the month: the Nones (5th or 7th, depending on the length of the month), the Ides (13th or 15th), and the Kalends (1st of the following month). The Ides occurred near the midpoint, on the 13th for most months, but on the 15th for March, May, July, and October. The Ides were supposed to be determined by the full moon, reflecting the lunar origin of the Roman calendar. On the earliest calendar, the Ides of March would have been the first full moon of the new year.[3]

Yeah, but the Romans used that damned Roman numeral system too. Ever try to deciper the copyright date on an old movie, in black and white, on a 15" TV with coat hanger rabbit ears?

I can still do Roman numerals.

That's because when I was growing up, that's all we had.

There were no Arabs yet.

Differential equations were a real bear, though......
