Well, I'm heading down to Bolivar this evening then on to Branson early tomorrow morning. Sam was on his way home for the weekend and his truck started overheating.
He got pulled over at a conoco at the corner of 65 and 160. He is dumping radiator fluid.
Not what I had planned for this weekend. Anyone know a good mechanic if it is something I can't easily fix?
He will not be a happy camper, his girlfriend is up here...

RC - I've already been thinking about that tail gate. Let me know which years should work and I'll see what we can find.

Another busy morning here, but I was able to spend a little time on the smoker before the storms hit. I extended the passage between the firebox and the smoke chamber (because I failed to measure correctly the first time) and fabbed up a crude but hopefully functional fresh air control for the firebox.

Is this the son going to C of O? I don't live far from there. I know a good honest shop in Springfield I trust. It is Bob's Automotive. Ask for Greg and tell him Moose sent ya. I don't think they are open on Sat though. I'll PM you my cell if you need anything tomorrow. I'm only about 25 min. away. Bruce

Thanks guys. Made it to My parents and will head out bright and early to see what I’m dealing with. Hopefully just need to replace a radiator hose. We will see.

First night I've slept worth a crud in a long time and Anakin thought I was late for work and needed to be up.

Not sure what the day holds but I'm sure it'll be interesting. RC - I'll check the next time I'm that way.

Good news maybe bad news. Heater hose but it is a fitting that broke. Now need to see if I can find the part.
