I have never had a problem with a vehicle vapor locking. ....well, one time I did. I used a cheap electric pump that was getting hot and heating the fuel. A stock, mechanical pump fixed the problem. You wouldn't need the spacer on a Performer intake. I think you'll need it even less on the air gap.

RC, yes have correct intake. This is on my son's Fox Body Mustang. i rebuilt him a 1983 convertible 5.0 5 speed and we gave it to him for his graduation from college. It turned out ok other than some runs I got in the clear. It is a 10 footer. Only had 96,000 on it and no rust. Looked like it had been garage kept. I picked up the intake on Oreilly Auto's web site under clearance for 20 bucks, Brand new still in box. Cost more to ship it, than what I gave for it.

Morning folks. I'm playing hooky from the office today so I can take Alex back to Springfield and to (hopefully) bring the camper back home. I've got my fingers crossed that the traffic will be slightly less than bonkers because the big white beast and tight traffic isn't much fun.
Rich - Let me know what next weekend is looking like for you. If the weather is halfway decent, maybe Nikki and I can make the run your way.

RC ,the reason it's the fountain of youth in back of your house is you get in like an old man and get out like a 10 year old cause it's so COLD .
I didn't listen to the video cause i just got those songs out of my head .

Sounds good Rich.
So far, it's been a pretty awesome day. After dropping Alex off and grabbing a bite of lunch, the wife and I headed over to pick up the camper. For once, everything went pretty smooth. They had already had it pulled out and ready for us (which has never happened) and it looks as good as new. A few weeks ago, I decided to increase the pitch on the hitch head in hopes that it would take out the last little bit of sway I was having on the highway. My WAG paid off and now I can comfortably hold 65 without the tail wagging on me even with a cross breeze and passing semis.
I even managed to win something today through a radio program that I listen to. I'm the proud new owner of one of these...

Evening All!
It was a beautiful day, today. I gave the Suzuki back to the owner so she has something to drive until I can find a place to paint it. I got the shipping set up for the drop box for EQ, so I should have that Tuesday. ...and I got the rear axle ready to go under the truck. I just have to cut the rear suspension out of the truck so I can get rid of the last bit of horrible engineering the previous did.
