New to the group..I just finished my first Ford rebuild

94 bronco 302
new pistons, rings, rod and main bearings, oil pump double roller timing chain, water pump . Reused comp cams cam and roller lifters push rods and cleaned up heads. But now I'm thinking about the 302 I'm actually having a shop build for me. It's bored 0.030 and stroked to a 347 with the 303 cam gt40 heads roller rockers everything brand new know the typhoon intake won't work in my bronco....but if I just swapped intakes would it make sense to drop that engine in when I get it back and sell the one I just freshened up to try and recoop some cash??

is your 94 equipped with mass air?
that 303 cam is better suited for a mustang not a bronco so i personally would consider changing that.

why wont the typhoon intake work? I believe you can turn the upper so it points to the drivers side. would just need to get creative with the throttle linkage and such. or you can get a typhoon truck upper which would match the lower.

I figured I would keep the comp cams camshaft and just thought that the computer wouldn't know how to act with the typhoon intake..was mainly wanting to use the bottom end and GT 40 heads

I run an edelbrock efi truck intake on my 94 running speed density. No issues.

Edelbrock truck intake though...this typhoon intake came out of a mustang. I guess I could swap computers if I really wanted to...

Selling the stock motor?

How much and what's your location? I miss needing to replace my 5.0 in my 96. Bronc after it locked up on cyl#3 and the piston had a rave party in the block....
