Speaking of making things easy.
Having to scroll back to the top of the page to get to the tree is a pain.
It used to be also at the bottom and top and that was so much easier.
Can you ask that it be put back?

I've realized now you're talking about the entire navigation menu. That will not be changing.

I believe we're working on some alternatives, but the breadcrumbs will not be placed back as before.

The only feature that I like is that this site now opens in a new window instead of the same one as my email.
. I still seldom post (wondwe how many others mostly disappeared with this update)

Fewer than the new members it brought in, I'd bet.

Something else change recently?
Now when I copy what I've typed so as not to lose it if something glitches during REPLY (Hey, I'm paranoid from past and current experiences) it does not paste back in the same format.

For example I might CUT instead of COPY just to make sure it took (because of occasional keyboard problems) and when I paste it back, every line has extra spaces (up to five spaces) in between. So I have to go back and delete added spaces just to get it back to a normal looking text prior to hitting REPLY.
I just tested it by cutting and pasting right in this window a line I typed and it moved things four lines down after pasting.
And no, I can't rely on the auto-saving feature because it has literally never worked for me. Not sure what's up with that (it does show the occasional "auto saved" text) but I've never been able to figure out how to retrieve something that's been lost.

Something that's going to go away eventually? Or no more cutting/copying and pasting?

Paul
