Scored some parts....
Scored 2 doors and a hood which bring up some questions.
They came off a '60 F800. Comparing side by side photos (haven't picked them up yet) the hood looks the same as my '58. The doors are in much better shape also.
Sooo, can someone school me on the differences (if any) on '58 doors and hood versus '60 doors and hood?

My understanding is the '57 thru '60 "F" series doors are all interchangeable. There are slight differences as some doors have provisions for an upholstery insert. This results in a bunch of small holes on the inside of the door. I'm not sure what it is, but I don't think the rectangular hole (if it is a hole) behind the latch handle in the green door came from the factory.
The hoods are all pretty much all interchangeable. '57 and '58 hoods are the same except for the side emblem holes. '59 hoods have "FORD" spelled out on the front. The '60 hoods have 2 air slots on each side of the hood emblem. '60 hood springs are a little different in that they have more coils and are supposed to be stronger than earlier years. I am not sure if the actual hood hinges are different, but I am sure somebody will chime in and correct me if I am wrong about any of this.
I would appear someone put a .45 slug through the hood in above picture. That makes for some interesting patina....
