You got an AutoZone there? Walk in and tell them you need a replacement oil drain plug. They are hanging by the fuel filters. They have ones that cut new threads. simple. Or look at the section of HELP parts they have.

Dang, this got a few replies while I was gone lol. I plan on taking it on once I have some more free time and cash. Right now is the busy rush season at work, consequently I ought to have cash to fix the ol truck up once I get ahead again. Just started moving forward on getting my SCUBA certification though, so that'll gobble some considerable cash. Thanks for the help and ideas guys I appreciate it. And Rusty, she doesn't really know how to do much wrenchin' that's why she wants to do this with me. Someone got it in her mind somewhere along the way that I'm far more mechanically competent than I really am... wonder who did that?
