I LIKE IT ALOT DAN! Didn't know they were produced, but back when I fixed my door I most likely would have completely ruined the whole door if I had tried to install one, LOL. I just got cab corners, lower cowl patches, and rocker panels (still to arrive) also from DC , which will go on my to do (some day) list. I'm eager to see your truck in person or in pics, Roy's sure came out beautiful. FYI, Mom just fell and broke two ribs plus the wife had to fly back to Montgomery as her Son is in intensive care with a bad Heart. Every time I get closer to visiting you guys something always pops up, seems like the only thing that isn't broke around here is my truck. No complaints ,would just like to see you all again this year. Didn't mean to hijack your thread with this Novel of a post. Take care my friend.
I wonder if that is something new (the door panel) as all of sudden i'm seeing them being sold and i don't recall them in the past. Good to see that, but sucks about the lack of tootsie rolls.
I would send it back but I have been waiting too long to get it. I can live with out the tootsies rolls.
It does look a little thinner than the stock door metal, but I won't know for sure until I cut the door open.
After 8 years of this project, I finally ordered a steel transmission cover from MidFifty...I was really happy with the trans cover, but no tootsie rolls for me either...kinda disappointing....I can order parts from several places, but I ordered from them due to the memory of tootsie rolls! depressing to open the box and dig through it...nothing but paper...
Like opening a box of Corn Flakes....no toy in that box...why buy them....(my thoughts as a kid) dang it...
