Hello, my slave cylinder failed. I replaced it with the only part listed for it, however the inlet for the hydraulic line fitting is too large - fluid leaks past even with the pin properly inserted.
Comparing the original with the new, everything looks exactly the same, but the new one is ~1/16" larger diameter.
Anyone know what's going on?

Thanks
Yep, that did the trick. A couple of observations just in case some poor soul on the internet finds them self in a similar predicament:
1)The inlet hole on the slave cylinder appeared smaller on the old one because the o-ring fits down inside it. This was impossible to see under intense lighting because it baked onto the slave cylinder, and when I installed the new O ring in the new slave, it similarly "disappeared".
2) Don't buy the part from Amazon - they didn't come with any pins or O rings.
3) None of the Harbor Freight O-Rings fit. Just trust me on this.
4) I cannot find any part # for the O-ring at the end of the hose alone, so you have to buy a new cylinder or line that includes it. I would have tried to make my own, but was afraid of losing it in the cylinder body.
Tl;DR - Make sure the cylinder you buy comes with a replacement O-Ring and roll pin.
Don't feel bad, some of us old guys still occasionally get schooled on buying cheap online parts. It's sometimes a tough pill to swallow but you usually just can't go wrong with OEM Ford parts. On the brighter side, I often find the factory parts for cheap on ebay.
