2020 Superduty Tail Light Assembly

Hi... I have a 2020 F350. I made the mistake of letting my Dad borrow it for a quick fishing trip... ... He "Promises" BOTH of my tail light lenses were cracked when he picked it up.... Uh Huh...OK Dad!!!
My truck in Non Led With Bliss...
2 Questions..
1. Can I purchase Non Bliss Non Led Assembly and simply cut out the hole for my bliss sensor
2. Can I purchase Non Bliss Non Led Assembly and just swap out the actual plastic colored lens
The cost difference between buying Bliss vs Non Bliss Assemblies is pretty significant...about a grand or better.
Thank you for any advice in advance!!!! Shawn

Buy used off ebay or car-part.com
Trying to salvage and piece something together will just be an ongoing PITA.

I fortunately haven't had to learn this first hand, but from what I gather from reading the forum is the BLIS sensor is a separate part from the red plastic housing/lens. You just take the BLIS out and move it to the new lens, saving the cost of a new BLIS. Since you are non-LED (halogen) reports on the forum say you might get them from E-bay $500 - 800.

My Dad would never do that kind of thing to me. But my sister lives to do that stuff to just about anybody. So I kinda get it.

Any way you can get insurance to cover it?
