Could you send a picture or two of the cab? I may be willing to get it shipped.

I could but I've been to that movie, spend the time getting it strapped to a pallet, wait all day for a shipper who don't show up, or the next day, or the next. It doesn't seem to work here. And with my present health issues, it would be more than I can pull off.

Everyone, what is the difficulty level to convert 6V to 12V? Is there a premade wiring harness I could get and what components do i need to change?

truck that you drug out of the weeds

What are doing with the rest of the truck that you pulled out? Did it have a 2 speed rear end or other accessories?

Very simple. Slingshot bracket for a one wire gm alternator and runtz reducers for tha gauges and 12 volt bulbs all around. The six volt harness will handle twice the amps you need with 12 V. I'm a hick but I rewire every vehicle with discarded extension cords. Extra shielding and color coded. On jobsites, the young guys throw them in the trash if they need a new end. My 36 year old employee is always asking why I waste my time 'fixing things' (new brushes in chop saws etc). " Our generation just buys new stuff" ... Their loss, my gain.

Rebuilding the entire truck. I have not yet determined the rear end. It does have a hydraulic dump bed.

I have all my good dropcords from cast off jobsite ones. They won't let you on a jobsite with a repaired drop cord. I also wired my headlights on the rpu with orange 12g extension cord.

Here on the island we have no osha or any other inspectors checking our cords. It would take them all day to get here and then another day to find any jobsites at the end of a dirt road leading down to the waterfront. That's why we pull the safety guards from all our saws...
