Cerma additives

Have any of you ever used this product? They have a very expensive engine additive, along with additives for transmission and fuel system.

I have not used that one.

I have used Opti-lube oil fortifier and archoil. these are boron and some other highly lube molecule that penetrates the metal.

there is also an opti-lube pure lube which I recently tried.

which would you say is better Fritz?

My turbo spool seems stronger with Archoil, but my mileage seemed better with Opti-Lube XPD

Yeah, $96 for a 4oz bottle that will rebuild your engine and increase fuel mileage up to 21%. Maybe I’ll buy two?

They must sell two different bottles then. The one I buy is only around $9 for a 20oz bottle.

I use the Archoil products for oil and fuel additive. Have been excellent. The oil additive quieted my engine down a bit after the first application.

If you want to preserve the engine, fuel system and trans I would suggest the following a: fs2500 oil bypass filter system oil changes every 5K or oil changes every 3.5K miles no bypass filter, you really cannot extend due to fuel in the oil caused by regens in a stock truck unless you delete the DPF which is an entire convo by itself ,use a good synthetic oil like Rotella synthetic 5w-40,this is great oil don't ruin it with snake oil additives, scheduled oil analyst at a company like black stone, I would use opti-lube xpd for a fuel additive to protect the fuel system along with changing the filter every other oil change, I would use a fs2500 by-pass filter on the trans or I would suggest changing/flushing the trans every 15K-20K miles. Motocraft trans oil LV is the best for your trans I would not stray from it or add snake oils to try to improve it. These have worked well for me and are only suggestions. continue your research and you will find what best suits your needs. This is not a cheap plan but its a well thought and throe plan to insure reliability in a much demanding maintained truck.

Also don't let this truck idle, idling a 6.4 is the worst thing you can due and it will take a lot of life out of the engine. The oiling system for the rockers is extremely poor at idle and I feel in my honest opinion is the cause for a lot of the early rocker failure seen in these engines.
