Help, unkown electrical issue!

Then jumped to left rear, left rear didn't light up.
Verify I have the above correct please.
Now try light blue to orange with light blue stripe, right rear should light up and flash. Let me know what happens with this one.
If nothing that side either, remove that flasher unit you installed under the hood for trailer lights, retest both rears and let me know the result.

And, should have asked earlier, are you doing these tests with stock style bulbs or are you using your led bulbs?
Leds might not cause the factory type flasher to function as it should regardless how long you leave it on, i'd have to look it up don't recall off the top of my head but its possible you'd need a solid state flasher for those bulbs.

Take the hazard flasher from the backside of the fuse box, it will work in place of the turn signal flasher in the front of the fuse box.
Or use the red-white wire instead of the light blue wire for power, uses the hazard flasher without having to move it. (no need to turn the key on).
See if your lights flash with your jumper wire.
I thought it was short trip, only couple bucks so..

I just want to say thank you to Danr1 and to Robert Long , the info link was very informative and easy to understand. Danr1 thank you for walking me through the test functions after replacing both flasher units and jumping the corresponding wires i was able to get flashes and signal lights. I plugged back in the multicombination switch and the lights were still not working with the unit after much fiddling around the light blue wire was not making a good connection with its pin , i strip the wire and repinned it with electrical solder. Know that there is a good connection the unit is working fine so thanks for saving me the 75$ and headache of not having to go through the electrical with a comb.

Hey great and thank you, I would also like to say thanks for the update letting us know what was the final fix.
Makes the thread much more useful to others that may find it in the future, knowing what was done to correct the problem rather than yet another an open ended issue, no restitution provided good or bad.
