its a 99 F350 DRW...does that rear leaf spring block look like the stock block or aftermarket...Ford said it should be a 4" block but I thought all DRW came with 2"

I'm seeing an E99 spider there without the AIH and no AIH relay. If a '95 block was used they swapped all your E99 parts over, same if they used an '00 block. As pointed out earlier if it's an earlier block it should have a freeze plug plugging the former fuel pump hole in the top of the block back my the spider. That is not obvious in your pictures.

Picture is too small for these old eyes to see anything.
Pixel count must be too low since it doesn't enlarge when you click on it.

I have front hubs in the garage waiting to go on. The passenger front is squeaking just a bit in hard left turns.

The truck will drive and handle like a completely different vehicle when you are done.

Good luck on your projects, keep us posted and remember we like pictures.

IIRC the blocks are 2.5" for the 250 and 4" for the 350.

As long as you have the 10-hole intake plenums, at least you're not dealing with the early version of the engine. I don't understand why the concern of the block year - all the Superduty parts fit on the blocks going way back, except the intake plenum.
