1965' F-250 4x4 cab mounts + hardware

Hey all, I have been looking for a while for new mounting hardware for the front mounts on my truck, and everywhere I look the hardware all says not for the 4x4. I had to rebuild the mounts and the floor of my cab so i am familiar with the differences in cabs, but i cannot for the life of me find the rubber and bolts.

1965 F250 4WD cab mounts & hardware

1965 F100/250 4WD & 1966 F250 4WD is different than 1965/66 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD

I don't know if any of the 4WD parts are reproduced, but there's an FTE member that will know.

TA455HO (Chad) has two like trucks.

They should still be available from Ford according to the parts book - all it takes is one used tire...

NONE of the parts are available from Ford. Neither are any of the 2WD related parts.

If they had been, I would have listed the part numbers and current prices.

Prior to 1965, parts catalog sez for 4WD's...improvise from tire carcass.

These guys have waterjet cut some front rubber mounts for Keith's truck. I think he paid $50 but he lives close enough that he drives past their place. Probably more by now plus shipping.

Laser Cut Gaskets ? Flash Cut Gaskets ? Waterjet Cut Gaskets - Die Cut Gaskets ? Lathe Cut Gaskets ? Gasket Die Stamping - Kiss Cut Gaskets

My trucks are OK in this area so I haven't had to venture down this path yet myself.

lmao, I'm impressed, never thought of using an old tire. I think the rubber that is on will hold up, its just the rubber pad on the frame right? there is nothing any where else? then the bolts and large washer can be acquired whever??

oh and thanks for time and responses, this has been a head ache.

My point exactly - I'd bet EVERY Ford dealer in the WORLD has an old tire laying around. In which case, the cab mounts are available from Ford and always in stock.

I bought some Prothane mounts and they are basically hockey pucks. They have no give and function basically as spacers just like a block of aluminum would. I'm thinking of using what is still good on my truck and scouring some salvage yards for the rest.

It just came to my mind this morning that a member in Oregon with a grey '65 F250 4X4 with a Cummins had new cab mounts made - I think there was talk of him getting a few extra sets made or just being able to contact his source directly and get them made.

That's Keith that I mentioned in post #5

Here's the thread. I already gave a link to the web site in post #5 as well. I didn't read where Keith had more than one set made, but maybe?
