Oil leak top of block behind doghouse 92 e350 351w
Opened the doghouse cover to find a n old oil leak from the rearmost point on the block where it connects to the bellhousing in a flat spot where a circular sensor protrudes upward. I’ll repost with a picture when I get home. Any idea on the source of this leak also what is this sensor that is covered in oil?

Calm down. When I looked at that post, three things were in play:
- I didn't notice that the username was the same as the person who opened the thread. My bad.
- The forum showed your post count at ONE, which it should not have. I even checked your profile, and that was the only post that showed up. Weird glitch - it should have showed your opening post AND the one where you tried to post a picture.
- A new poster with one post and trying to post a link is almost a guarantee that it's a spammer, which are usually bots.
As for help with posting a photo, I don't see a "How To" on the site....
You might try this:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode
Scroll down and you'll see where the image code is shown. Not sure it will be much help, though. Looks to me like it's only good if you already know what you're doing, IMO.
If that doesn't help, try this. Since the site uses vBulletin, probably any How To on posting on vBulletin should work for you.

If you have oil pooling on the block above the bellhousing. Then it's most likely from either a leaking valve cover gasket. Or the rear gasket of the intake manifold.
If it's a valve cover gasket, there's a good chance it's the passenger side one. With that engine's upper intake manifold design, I've seen a lot of people just replace the driver side valve cover gasket. So just about every one I've owned has had a leaking passenger side gasket when I bought it.
