Straight, Rust free bed spotted on Craigslist
Wasn't sure where to post this, but I found this gem on Craigslist in North Charleston, SC. Pretty good shape for $250.
I would drive 8 hours there and back next weekend, but the seller won't hold it.
Someone save this gem from the crusher!

The frame/under side looks like it has been sitting for a bit but from what I see not bad.
Even the bed floor of what I can see is not bed.
What looks bad and would need a little closer pictures of, is over the rear wheels of the bed sides.
This is not where you get "surface" rust but do get rust thru. Surface rust you would get on the roof, hood and top of fenders and bed rails.
That bed is too long and wrong style for my truck LOL

I agree with you on the rust over the wheel wells. Looks like it is starting to blister through. The pics from the underside can be deceiving. Those plastic inner wheel well liners will hide a lot of stuff. Also note, the box side and the inner steel wheel are welded there at the wheel well lip and that traps moisture. That is why they always start to rust there.
Now take a look at the rear end. Are those mud wasp nest?? makes you wonder how long it has been sitting?

I may end up driving to SC in a couple weeks and pick this up for $100.
