I added a second switch (unused starter Switch) to bring wipers back to park.
On my Cherokee motor the gray wire is park. The signal comes off of the low speed terminal (White) to momentary switch, to park (Gray).

Not sure if this is the way to go, but it works.

So you have to use a momentary switch to make park? If that is the case that explains why I did it wrong, I thought you sent power to the park wire full time. Maybe a wiper switch with a momentary "wiper wash" switch would work.

Yes, with the switch I used, an inexpensive one I got On ebay, the park would not work. I already had the starter switch in the dash unused because I went with the '56 switch with the built in start position. So it is a bit odd but the start switch wired in between the slow speed and the park works.

Red face

FWIW, I was finally able to figure it out so that my 2 speed switch works with proper park when 'off'... now the problem is the d@mn linkage; realized after spending too much time and effort that I would be having the wipers park on the wrong side ().

I'll follow up this weekend with the correct wiring for those interested. Back to the drawing board on the linkage mods...

sure wish the 52 linkage was as straightforward as your 54!
