Do you have a King Ranch or a Lariat?

You can see if a gauge sweep can reset things.

With the key OFF, press & hold the Trip/Reset button. While holding the button(s) in, turn the key to the ON position (but do not start it yet). When the word "GAUGE" comes up, release the button(s) and start the engine. When the word "GAUGE" is displayed, the gauges will then swing to full scale then back. Release the button at that time. By pressing the Trip/Reset button, you can cycle through all the things that can be displayed.

If that doesn't work, you may need a new instrument cluster.

I tried that, but the word GAUGE did not show, it only showed test, and I held it for a minute or so

Thanks

That's why I asked about the Lariat! They show the word test. I have also read that you need to push Setup and Reset buttons at the same time to start the process (this works for mine, just wasn't sure about the 03's).

So did that help anything or not?

Not sure if FICMrepair is working on the clusters. >>> FICMRepair.com - FORD Powerstroke 6.0 FICM Repair, PHP Tuning and Truck Parts
I know that they do >>> https://circuitboardmedics.com

Both are very helpful and sponsor FTE

Bismic, it did not work, but you mentioned to push setup and reset buttons, where are those to press.

Yahiko, I replaced the FICM last summer

Sean was suggesting those companies to repair you instrument cluster, not replace the FICM.

Brian thanks for clarifying.

Bismic, I went through you process again this morning and cycled through and the odometer is back to reading the mileage.

Thanks for all your help
