While towing uphill 2008 F350 6.4 exhausted a large amounts of white smoke and I immediately pulled over and shut it down.
I started it back up after 1/2 hr appeared to be fine. Unhooked trailer and started driving. It did same thing in about 1/4 mile and cluster told me to pull over. Truck shut down.
Checked turbo. The shaft on the turbo was very loose. The truck sat for about 8 months while I took care of some business, then did egr delete and Replaced turbo and removed up pipes and replaced.
Started truck and let it warm up. Noticed the white smoke again.
Road test demonstrated both loss of power and white smoke.
There are No bubbles in degas bottle. There is No coolant loss nor coolant in oil and No turbo PSI.
I have not added a tuner yet.
Any thought of what could be the issue now? Thank you very much in advance for your help!
