I’ve really enjoyed the sound of my truck with a muffler delete and 5” tip but I’m ready to get a full exhaust to eliminate the front resonator. The two exhaust systems I am considering are the Magnaflow and the Heartthrob systems. Both eliminate the front resonator, the Magnaflow is 3.5”, the Heartthrob is 4”. I’ve been in contact with Heartthrob mainly because I wanted to see if their 11-16 kit would fit the 17 Superduty. Turns out it does. They also sent me the dyno charts and I got to talk to Jeremy from their company, who has the kit on his truck which is featured in their YouTube sound clip. Just thought I’d share the dyno charts and let everyone know that there’s another exhaust option for the 17’s now, not sure if they’ve updated their website yet or not.
Now I can’t figure out how to get the PDF dyno charts to this post lol but they have them posted along with a sound clip if you look up the kit on their site.
Interesting.. looking at the charts.. you dont gain any torque, it moves around alittle, but you do gain 14hp according to their dynos.. Now they dont say anything like if they put a tune in it, or if its just a change in the exhaust.. because if thats so.. That would friggin awesome, an actual bolt on mod that makes a difference.
True, there isn't much for a peak torque gain. But compare the lower end of the graphs and it does produce more torque below 3600 rpm. Would be nice if they would overlay the graphs.
