Edge Insight CTS2 with 2018 6.7

Is anyone using the Edge Insight CTS2 monitor with a 2018 yet? I talked to Edge and they're still a few months away from testing the CTS2 with a 2018 6.7. I'm getting ready to pull my fifth wheel and would like to go ahead and purchase a CTS2 to monitor EGT's and some other key temps.

I guess I'll find out if they work with my 2018. I just ordered one directly from Edge. The sales rep also gave me a Veterans discount and free 2 day shipping so that was awesome.

My guess is that itíll work just fine. I checked for software updates to mine (bought back in December) and there werenít any. I bet you can plug & play and monitor anything you want to. My truck is a 2017 but with 17ís and 18ís overlapping sales, I bet the OBD port will power and read the unit just like it does hundreds of other trucks & cars. I really like my CTS2.

It just got delivered. What PIDS are you monitoring? I'll set it up the same way initially.

Does not work on the 2018 6.7 yet. They are working on an update.

Care to elaborate? Are you speaking from personal experience or just what you read?

I bought one when I got my 2018 6.7. It would not install properly. I called the tech support line provided with the unit. They state that they are working on an update for the 2018. Their website only lists up to 2017. They told me to put it in import mod to get some readings, digital speed was the only useful gauge at this time. I am waiting for the update.

Thank you for the heads-up. Edge sales led me to believe the common PIDS would work. I guess I'll wait for the update.

Yep, received it today and started installing. Imported 67 PIDS then tried to display gauges then shutdown. I called Tech support and told him the sales rep said it should still work on General PIDS. Instead of selecting my Ford, I had to import other. So it does support a few PIDS like, EOT, ECT, fuel rail pressure, turbo boost, and several others. Unfortunately no EGTís or Regen Status yet.

Including screen shots the CTS2 is reading under ďotherĒ for 2018.
I wonder if Catalyst temp b1 down and b1 up is EGT's. I just wonder which egt probe those are.
