2010 F250 Upgrades Towing Fifth Wheel steering / Suspension

Im looking for suggestions and personal related opinions ive been reading on here quite a bit haven't found the exact recipe for what im working with.

The Machine
2010 F250 CC Short bed 4x4 V10 Towing a 9500# +or- Fifth Wheel camper
truck is factory stock except the following.

I had added sumho springs a year ago and I wasn't pleased with sag or the increase in sway so i added a hellwig Big Wig rear sway bar and super springs this winter haven't tried it out yet. but with the increased height in back and the front 157# Ranch Hand guard i feel like the truck is a drag car now. No i haven't measured yet with camper loaded to see height difference but will next nice day we get.

Also im debating on adding a front steering stabilizer to help maintain front end the truck as it has no lift but larger tires being 275/75-R18 vs fact 17 .... what have you guys done on stock as i haven't found a set up for no lift.

If any of you have a similar set up id be very curious to know what your upgrades are to increase stability and steering for the set up im working with.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions and personal experience.

Remove the sumo springs, install Airbags and be done with it. You can drop the pressure in the bags so it's not nose down when the truck is unloaded. If you plumb each bag independently it also gives you better sway control.

You can try going up to a stiffer OEM ford spring in the front. The spring codes are available on this forum, and they're easy to swap in/out after disconnecting the bottom shock. The gas F-250's usually have a 4800lb front spring, try going up to something like a 5600lb spring and it'll help level out the front of the truck without using spacers or a lift and have the added benefit of riding better when the truck is loaded with the 5th wheel.

I was able to get a brand new set of 6000lb take off springs from a ford dealer that sold trucks with lift packages for $100 bucks on ebay. I replaced my 5600lb springs and it made a world of difference, but it does ride rougher when unloaded.

thanks for the input sir im now wondering if i should of went with air bags but this truck is a farm truck and camper hauler and the idea of air lines getting snagged torn etc is more room for mechanical failure and that didnt really apeal to me. i originally opted for the sumho springs due to cost. as stated i wasnt pleased and this time i went for simplicity and put on the Super Springs (5000#) but i have a drag racing car feel. Now im 2nd guessing my superspring decision maybe it will work out when loaded just not real pleased with current set up empty, which is why i reached out hoping someone else had taken the same path.......... Thanks again i still may end up trying the air bags

Tuck the air lines up along the frame rails. You will have no problem with lines getting snagged. Have ran them for quite a few years and never had an issue.
