Yeah the top of the bumper is open, then the very bottom has the logo cut out for air flow. I will probably get a plate cut for the top. I would like to have it louvered to direct airflow to the cooler if I can find anyone to do it in some 1/4" steel. I have a friend with a cnc but he can't do louvers. It's hard to imagine there not being any airflow in the area even if it was blocked. There is always the venturi effect.

I got the grille off of eBay. You have to order the F and D separately from

Raptor Grille Letters

Be careful as there are several brands, but the only 2 that have been tested w these letters are Paramount and EAG.

Looks awesome.

I really like the stairs in the garage. Did you build them?

That Raptor grille looks really nice (bumper, too). However, I'm not following you on how you put the grille together... separate letters? Can you provide a more detailed explanation of what you used for the base grille and how to put it all together?

The aftermarket Raptor grill looks like D O D D...then you purchase the "F" and the "R".....bolt them on.

Go to the grill link...you'll see.

Gotcha. Thanks.

$100 just for the two letters? Then another $250+ for the grill itself...

It does look nice, but for that money I can do several more things to the truck which are really more necessary at this point..

I did build them. I have 2" thick walnut treads to put on them at some point. They are "functional" so it's not the top of my list!

Looks like a real nice upgrade, sucks that it had to come as a result of an accident.

I really do like the grill! I'm going to go that route if I ever decide to upgrade my front end to the '05-'07 format. The bumper is really nice, too!

It does, but it probably would not have happened otherwise. My wife is an accountant if that tells you anything.
