I've been running a set of the AirLift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate bags for a few years now.

Have had ZERO problems.

I don't have an on-board compressor. I just fill the bags with shraeder valves by my license plate.

When we go camping and tow the 5th wheel, I carry a 5 gallon air tank that I fill up at home. I can fill, deflate, and refill the bags several times with this one tank. I also carry a little 12v compressor just in case I ever need to refill the 5 gallon tank on a long trip.

FWIW - I thought about the Sumos but I understand they are softer and made for lighter loads. May not have the jolting unloaded ride the Timbrens gave but then they don't support the weight either.
I had a set of Timbrens that worked well and kept things level when loaded. Unloaded they were like a large bump stop and I felt every expansion joint, pot hole and road dip pretty hard.
I now have Firestone bags and Airlift on board compressor. Loaded the ride is level but not as hard as the Timbrens and unloaded just better all round.

I have been researching airbags, stableloads, timbrens and sumos for the last 2 years and will be ordering a set of Firestone's depending on how our new toy hauler sags the truck. My decision was based on the fact that the price is all pretty close and there are thousands of people using Firestone's with excellent results so why go with something new and untested.
