Issues with JVC headunit 2016 F250

I was gifted a JVC v230bt headunit and a backup camera for Christmas. I am not knowledgeable with electronics, so I had a shop install the items for me. Now I'm finding out that the factory USB plug is completely non-functional and the factory microphone is also non-functional (new JVC microphone replaced it.) The sound quality of the new microphone is absolutely terrible. No one can clearly hear me if I try to talk via the microphone. The shop also busted one of the clips on a dash trim piece (the one that houses the exhaust brake button and 12v plug)

I have no idea how to resolve any of this and any input would be greatly appreciated.

The USB I would assume your SOL. I would guess that your new unit has one of it's own? I didn't look it up. Not sure how the factory one is wired in the back.

The factory mic was used on another install. Not sure what they did exactly, but I want to say it was a pioneer unit.
