Plan is to take Friday off and do it because I'm recruiting some help to work through all of it since I've never actually dug this far into things like this with a diesel before. We'll see if that actually happens though. It's getting new up pipes (mine are leaking), deleting the exhaust backpressure valve (leaking oil), and e-fuel to eliminate the leaking fuel bowl/mechanical pump and go to an electric one out of a Super Duty.

Wow, Bill! That's a lot of parts & projects at one time! Good luck!

Happy Tuesday, Gang! It's going all of the way to 75* here today. Should be crushing the old record of 68*!

In other wonderful news, the Super is back in Ford's hands for a while. I dropped it off this morning & told them I don't want called until the dash is fixed or a new truck is on order! As a bonus, they gave me a 2018 F-150 for a loaner. It's nice, clean & new, but I feel like I'm sitting on the road in it! What a difference!

I need to reign it in a touch, to be honest. Just a couple big purchases happened to hit in rapid-fire succession. I think there's only really one more, but it's a custom item that has to be sent out to be finished.

I hope they finally get that issue with the dash done, that's just ridiculous.

I'm almost done buying parts for now. I need to get a couple of gallons of high-build primer here sometime this spring. That stuff isn't cheap.

Morning Jason. Yeah, it's a lot but as Pat says I'm a glutton for punishment. The exhaust "should" be easy since I'm only routing one 3" pipe now rather than duals. It's 3 pieces and 3 clamps...let's hope lol. The diesel will be a bit more complex.

Hopefully they get your SD sorted. I'm not a fan of the new 2018 F150's for a number of reasons myself but at least they gave you something new to run around in.

Nothing paint-related is, for sure. Even the Eastwood rattle-can clear I use (the 2K product) for small parts/touch up work is $22 a can...

Morning Bill, Steve, Jason, Pat, Ken, Bud, Craig, Jim and anyone else who I may have missed.

Going to close to 70° here today. Too bad that I am hobbling around and won't be able to get out to enjoy it

Morning Neil. Well, just got back from the containment building. I haven't been in there for years. Pretty creepy, most of the lighting is shut down, just some temporary lighting. Kind of sad, too. I spent a lot of time in there during outages.

Pat, when was the last outage?

Bill, it would be better if it was not so overcast here.

2015 Neil. We were supposed to refuel again in October 2016, but, they announced the final shutdown that May.

Neil - it's just kinda thin cloud cover here. I guess according to the forecast that rain is moving back in tomorrow through the rest of the week...some of it freezing variety.

Can certainly understand the "creepy" factor, Pat. Imagine there was a fair amount of activity going on over there, and now to be none...weird.
