Hi Bill.

Pat, not yet. I want to talk to the guy who has my truck to see what's been done. I don't think he has done anything. If he hasn't, I think I'm going to go for buying the one that's in pieces. A new adventure for me, for sure.

Don't wait on it, Steve. You might end up letting a good opportunity pass you by!

Hi Jason, I know, but I'm a little tired of buying stuff and not using it. I have a basement filled with "spare parts" for this truck, including cab mounts, spare tire bracket, steering box, etc. etc. I'm trying a new thing (measure twice, cut once, instead of the other way around).

I hear ya! As was widely agreed upon the other day, it's an addiction!

I think my wife would understand a heroin addiction more than she understands this one.

lol...

Looks like the regulated return parts for the OBS fuel system showed up. Will be interested to see how that all looks. All stainless line to go with the braided stainless fuel lines I'm using...it'll be pimpin'...lol.

Dig me some braided steel lines. I'd like to use that on the 67, we'll see. I remember how pricey that stuff is.

I got just what I needed by getting some leftover from a friend of mine. Priced it from Summit and it wasn't exactly cheap. That and the AN fittings needed...ug. But, it'll be right and not leak - the most important thing.

my brake lines are the originals, so just hard steel. i didn't even think braided were an option. pretty good idea.

plus, it would be easy to put a kill switch in. i'm not too worried about theft of the truck i own now, because it's such a piece of crap, but if i do it up right with this new truck, i'm going to have to do something about theft. soooo easy to break into these old things and hot wire them.
