me? the guy is going to weigh the cab and try to get me a price for shipment. if it's reasonable i think i'll buy the clean cab and maybe a few more of the parts (like the inner fenders) and ship them here. Then I'll go get my truck back from the welder and do the transfer myself. Never swapped a cab before, so that should be fun.

Oh, is this the one in California? Might as well get everything you need in one shot, if the stuff is in good shape.
It's pretty easy to swap the cabs. If it's empty, two guys can lift it. Might need four if the doors are still on it.

i'm really hoping it works out because i think it will be fun. i'm pretty sure nothing on the old cab will be worth anything, but i can take it to the scrap metal place and get a few bucks.

Keep it until you are absolutely sure you don't need anything off of it. That was my mistake, I should have kept the black cab, I could have cut some pieces off of it, instead of having to make them by hand.

Just sitting here at my desk plodding through some work and fighting the reflection on my monitors from the sun. As the morning has worn on it is getting better.
