Anyone have any ideas on anyone or a company to bring a 78 longbed from Oregon to Chicago for me?

Thanks!

I'm sure all you would need to do is build a pallet for it and most any shipper will haul it.

Try uship.com

People bid on shipping your stuff and no commitment if you change you mind.

Once you get the shipping worked out and get it ready to be shipped. Make sure the owner/seller puts the bed upside down on the pallet. Scrap carpet works for a padding. And strap it from front to rear, that way you do not bend any of the bed sides.

Use wooden trimed down 2x2's in the stake pockets to hold it there...

Imagine all the open (but sort of covered) bed space for more parts that you pick up on the way back...

Like a Craigslist crawl from Oregon to Chicago.

You would think that you could find a bed closer. https://rockford.craigslist.org/cto/...471139649.html

Have you contacted Rust Free Classics in Indiana? http://www.rustfreeclassics.com/ He might have a good bed or might get you one on his trips to Cali, Nm, or Az, for sure where he gets all the rust free rigs he sells.
