Dodge wheel question

What years of Dodge 1500 wheels have the 5 on 5.5 that will fit an F150? I want to buy some cheap 17" steelys so I can get cheap/free tires for a 78 Bronco thrasher truck. I did a search and see guys running them. Some seem to mention taking the center hole out bigger, no problem with a die grinder. thanks

According to what I have read.

04-08 Durango 5 on 5 1/2
80-93 Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster 5 on 5 1/2
69-74 Ram 1/2 ton 5 on 5 1/2
80-09 Ram 1/2 ton 5 on 5 1/2

X2 on the hub size matters. A machine shop should have a way to make the center holes bigger (if needed0 and that way you do not have to worry so much about balance issues.

I also would think that hitting up some local JY's you could get a spare tire/rim for cheap. Locate 4 spares with tires and you are set.

Closest local junkyards are 50 miles away. That's why it's easier to search internet forums for someone who has already done it. Not too worried on balance and any small amount I am off with the die grinder that close to the center isn't going to affect much anyway. Like I said, it is for a thrasher Bronco which will never see a highway again anyway. The off set is a concern so tires don't rub.
