Fuel Tank Part # Help

So I have a 1996 E150 van with a drop floor conversion.

They get rid of the dual tank set-up and just put a large one in the back. I think they use a bronco tank.

I've searched for the part number on the side but I'm failing horribly at finding anything.

I need it to order the fuel pump, I want the exact same fit. Also per the records given to me by the PO, the pump has been replaced at least once so I'm not sure the pump that is in there is the proper one.

TIA for any input.

It doesn't look like a full size Bronco tank to me either.

There is also a tag with a number in your picture.

What does that white sticker up near the frame say?

Ford prefix F2JL indicates the part was designed in 1992 (F2). J=Industrial / Marine engines. and the L=Industrial Engine Parts & Service.

You will never find it at the automotive parts houses IMHO.

Thanks so much!.

So would I just have to find any fuel pump that is meant for a 5.8L and hope that it fits?

If you don't need the van everyday, why don't you drop the tank and remove the pump.?
Then you will have a better idea of what you will need.
If the PO records show a replacement pump at some point, is there any record of what he put in it?

Unless you are dealing with high milage, going into a third fuel pump seems odd.
My original OEM pumps in all of my Fords get at least 175k miles out of them and several have gotten well in excess of 225k miles.

If the previous shop put the wrong pump in there, can it cause lean conditions?
