So I have a 1996 E150 van with a drop floor conversion.
They get rid of the dual tank set-up and just put a large one in the back. I think they use a bronco tank.
I've searched for the part number on the side but I'm failing horribly at finding anything.
I need it to order the fuel pump, I want the exact same fit. Also per the records given to me by the PO, the pump has been replaced at least once so I'm not sure the pump that is in there is the proper one.
If you don't need the van everyday, why don't you drop the tank and remove the pump.?
Then you will have a better idea of what you will need.
If the PO records show a replacement pump at some point, is there any record of what he put in it?
Unless you are dealing with high milage, going into a third fuel pump seems odd.
My original OEM pumps in all of my Fords get at least 175k miles out of them and several have gotten well in excess of 225k miles.
