Florida now has 9 Veteran Cemeteries. I think the newest one is Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mim’s. It is very nice!

Thanks, were glad we have a good support network, would it be a dishonor to fly the Marine flag in his honor if were not in the marines? I haven't flown the flag as I don't want to disrespect the Marines/honor or the Marine flag, but would like to leave it at half mast for a bit of time. anyways were slowly getting through this...

Hell Yes, your Family! Fly it at Half Mast until burial, then bury it with him. That's what I did for my Dad, only Navy in his case......

well he is already been buried, that's the thing, I didn't get the opportunity to fly the flag in his honor at half mast or anything before he was buried

In that case, you can fold it up, same as the colors and give it to his wife, or take it to the nearest American Legion, Fleet Association, Marine Corp Vets Assoc. for proper Disposal. Or put it into a Presentation case and Put it on Wall.......

I suppose, but we’re finding it hard to dispose of anything like that, we may just keep the flag and fly it on holidays and on his bday in his honour, yes we are missing him a lot and it sucks, would it be tacky if I kept a marine flag(small car window flag type thing) on my truck in his honour (we had more of a brother/family relationship then any one else did) we’re still uncovering things of his that he had kept hidden or stored away
