Aftermarket backup lights suggestions?

I have a 2017 F350 Lariat. It has all LED's and the BLIS box in the tail light assembly.
For my taste it needs much more backup light.
Has anyone found any good, bright aftermarket backup lights that could be wired to the Up-fitter switches
that are easy install and don't interfere with the trailer hitch or chain attachment points ?

Several have mounted flush mount LED lights in the bumper. No need to buy the expensive Rigid ones just get some off brand ones and they will add a lot of light. A quick Google search will turn up a bunch of them.

I bought some cheapies on Amazon, like $20 for the pair, mounted them under the bumper. Upfitter switch 2.. work great.

Has anyone tapped a reverse light wire?

I'm eyeing these:
2017-2018 F250 & F350 ZROADZ Rear Bumper LED Light Mounts w/ Two Light Bars Z385471-KIT

But no luck finding pics or reviews here.

Yes that has been done. Some even use a relay so they can turn them on with an upfitter switch too. I don't have the link to it but you should be able to find it with a search.

As for your ZROADZ link, that's out of my price range. I'm planning on getting some Nilight LEDs to go back there. Saw on here where somebody used those.

Do you mean the truck reverse light? I was wondering if tapping into the trailer reverse light wire would work, or if the truck needs to see a trailer connected before it works?

I mounted 2 led lights under the trailer hitch wired to an upfitter switch. Also mounted lights under the cab just forward of the front doors that shine out toward the front and side. Makes it SO much nicer to be able to see all around the truck when you're maneuvering in the dark.

Would you mind posting some pics of your front/underneath mounted lights? That sounds interesting and useful. Thanks!

Here you go. First 2 are the light on the front driver's side (similar light on the passenger side, and the bottom is my rear-facing lights.

Here are the side lights, looking out the driver's side window. Picture with light off and light on. These lights were only about $15 from Amazon. I didn't think to get a picture of the rear lights, but they are significantly brighter. Headlights are on in both pics.

Those little lights on the side are the best modification I've done to my truck. I've noticed that since the truck is so big and the front headlights are so far away, you really don't get much light to the side when making a turn. I was pulling my camper in a dark, unfamiliar campground one night, and when I swung out wide to make a turn, the side road completely disappeared! I love them, and use them every day.

jergle, that's a good setup. I like the angled lights up front. I have power boards so I'm not sure how I could get that to look right but I'm going to check it out.

As for the actual reverse lights for the truck, are they already LED? I have a platinum trim truck so I have the LED from lights and what looks like LED lights around the taillights when the lights are on. Are the brake lights LED also in this truck? Are the white reverse lights? I've only had the truck for a couple of days and haven't had someone with me that could turn off and on lights while I stood outside to see exactly what is happening.

If the white lights aren't LED, you could probably get some replacement LED bulbs that would help a lot. Or if they are LED, maybe find some brighter ones.
