Thought I would share my 66 F100 with everyone! I just picked it up last summer, was basically a barn find and literally had to drive through 2 tornadoes to get it, but all in all it was worth it. It had been sitting for 6 years, and when I brought it home it was full of dust,dirt,rats nest, mud dobbers, the hood was primered and missing trim and the engine ran like a engine should after sitting for so long.... crap, and it was bleeding fluids from every gasket in the engine and carb. But over all the truck was an ACE to me! I trailered it home, and started working on it and in no time had her purring like a kitten and looking like a clean healthy truck again! I absolutely love this truck! I had one when I was younger, about 20 years ago. It was a blue 66 shortbed with a 390 auto and it was a screamer! But being young and broke, I sold it and regretted it as soon as it left the driveway. My search for another 66 F100 started the next day but nothing I could afford or what I wanted presented itself. Luckily 20 years later I finally found the one!! Its another blue 66 F100 Shortbed 352 with a 4spd. I absolutely love it and will not be parting with it anytime soon! I drive it everywhere! I plan on dropping it a few inches and putting an auto in it. This thing is a blast to drive. I just thought I would share it with you all and glad to be back in the F100 community
