Freeze plugs on back of 460?

I have a very slight coolant leak that is coming from the inspection cover on the trans. Are there freeze plugs on the back of the 460, under the flywheel, that could be leaking, perhaps due to rust?

Do the heads have freeze plugs on the back, perhaps?

There are no coolant drain plugs or freeze plugs on the back of the block or head.

Any other clues besides it being on the inspection plate?

Can you see where it ran down the plate?

How much was it?

Only thing I can guess atm is that a freeze plug might be leaking and while you drive it gets blown back toward the transmission.

Or possibly leaking heater core hose that somehow is getting the fluid down there?

I crawled up under it yesterday and confirmed no freeze plugs on the back of the heads. I thought of the heater hoses, since they are on the firewall, but how would it jump over to the motor? The leak is very slight, I checked my coolant bottle yesterday as well and it is not empty. I can see a trail along the oil pan, so it may be coming from the freeze plug that is under the motor mount. I need to get it up on my lift and look closer but my DD is taking up that space right now for a trans swap. So for now I will just monitor the coolant level. Thanks for the input!

Looks like it is coming from the timing cover on the passenger side and running along the lip of the oil pan till it reaches the trans, then goes into the inspection cover. Unusual to see it go that far before hitting the ground. Must be something going around - I just did this repair on my son's 95 F150 (302) over Christmas but his was dripping right straight to the ground in front.

Gasket set ordered...
