8 cylinder throttle cable vs 6 cylinder throttle cable

Simple question! Are these the same? Have an aftermarket one and in the cold it decided it wanted to start popping off the ball of the carb. A buddy of mine has a truck with the 6 cylinder and I'm wondering if it will fit. Any help is appreciated.

I am not sure but I think the 6 is longer.
I also don't know if how the bolt to the motor bracket are the same.
See if auto zone or the like have them or get them also try rock auto.
I know it does not help you now.
