Rear seat belt air bag

Has anyone got these rear seatbelt air bags on an ordered truck lately?

I just did a build at dealer and it says (late availability)
So is it still a hold up?

Thanks

Still not available. According to ford.com, they will be available again in February. My F450 order with this option on it still hasn't scheduled yet but my dealer is expecting it to schedule soon as long as they don't push availability out further than February.

I originally ordered my 350 with them, however, the order was "rejected" as a result of the airbag seatbelts. Two separate dealers claimed that in their talks with regional Ford reps that the airbag belts would not be available until April/May.

Ended up pulling the belts off the order and resubmitted.

FWIW, my 17 150 has the belts and recently received a recall on the attach anchors.

I've heard 2 RUMORS: 1) The belts will have late availability of April or later. 2) When first available, not all truck models will get them.

Time will tell. I deleted them from my F450 order that was in limbo. Truck is now in production.

I ordered my 2017 F350 in the first week in April & got it May 16 2017 with the rear inflatable seatbelts. A few weeks bk I got a recall for: . . . "rivet connecting the left-hand rear inflatable seat buckle to the floor anchor may have an inadequate head thickness"

I deleted rear inflatable seat belts from my order back in early November, but it doesn't appear to have sped up my order much. My delivery date is still listed as 8 March...

I have them on my '17 F250 - there is/was a recall, but was taken care of at the dealer at delivery.

Well, it looks like First Dually's info was far more accurate than the Ford Build and Price website. My dealer forwarded me the following broadcast message today regarding the option:
The Super Duty rear inflatable seatbelts (555) for the 2018 MY has been cancelled and moved to the 2019 MY. Please contact your regions and inform them that this option will not be available on the 2018’s and to remove the option or cancel the order.
The order banks for the 2019 open on 3/2 and Job 1 is 6/18 so given I've been waiting this long on this order I think I'll wait until I can take a look at the 2019 order guide on 3/2 and decide what do do with my order at that time.

Weird. Some '18 F-150s are coming with the inflatable seat belts. They are included on some of the high end package options like the 601A King Ranch.

Must not have enough supply to meet demand.
