Midfifty sells new stock style radiators. You can get them with the upper pipe and lower pipe located left, right, or center.

Is the 6cyl radiator big enough for Chevy 350? Again also what is best aluminum or copper/brass?

I have an aluminum rad in my pickup with a 351 Windsor and a copper rad in my panel that has a 350 Chevy . No problem with either on. All your new vehicles have aluminum rads in them..I put the aluminum in my pickup because it was cheaper than the copper one I bought through Midfifty..

Pappy,
Buy a aluminum radiator and forget about it.
The original copper radiators are great until you need to fix them. Then it cost more than a new aluminum radiator.
Problem with aluminum radiators are they are throw always if they start leaking.

Whatever happened with your Cab?

BJ is right. They wanted $500 to re-core my brass original radiator. Even the radiator shop said that it wasn't worth it. I bought an aluminum one for $200 from LMC truck.

Good luck on finding a cab. You’re close enough to KS & OK you ought to find a nice one.

I originally ran the 2 row Mopar radiator in my 53, but when I added A/C it just wasn't enough cooling for my Mercedes diesel. Bought the "desert cooler" 4 row from mid-fifty for $550 and it cooled well. Fast forward 4 years and less that 40K miles and that radiator is now leaking in the center of the core. No damage, just a pinhole. Haven't sent it to the shop yet, so hope it's just a simple repair.

I have that same rad in my panel, hopefully I don't run into any problems. Year 5 will start this summer..

The problem is we don’t get enough mileage on our trucks. Oils, Antifreeze and even brake fluids need to be changed every few years. Antifreeze, I’ve been told, actually goes bad and instead of inhibiting corrosion actually can do damage.

I put 6000 kilometers a year on my panel on average and put 5000 on the pickup last season..
