Rear running lights not working

Hello all!

I was stopped by a fellow 150 driver about my
lights lights
not being on.

When i got home i checked and my front lights all work fine. But my
license plate license plate
lights and brake http://www.tomtop.com/2Pcs-5W-Super-Bright-LED-Car-Fog-DRL-Daytime-Running-Lights-Waterproof-Ultrathin-36-Chips-Red-K918R.html were not working. When i press on the
brake brake
my lights due turn on but other than that they do not.

Now i looked at the bulbs for the license plate since its dark and thats all i really wanted to do tonight and i noticed that both are burnt out. I also saw a lot of corrosion on the one bulb and the place you would put the bulb.

So my question is would both bulds being burnt out cause the running brake lights not to work? Or when i go buy new bulbs should i also get a fuse incase that isnt the fix?

Also how do i clean the corrosion out of the socket? Just like a q tip and
cleaner cleaner
?

Also where is the
fuse fuse
for the license plate
lights lights
and such. I have gone through my owners manual and have not found anything in fuses that would say lights to license plate or back running lights
Thank you all!

Andrew

PS this is a f150 2015 XLT

During the day, when the headlight switch is set to automatic, the Daytime Running lights will only turn on lights up front--nothing in the back.

During the night, in automatic mode, the headlights, signal lights, tail lights, and plate lights come on. You can also turn the head light switch to the "headlight" position to get this to work.

To prevent corrosion, use a little dielectric grease on your next set of bulbs.
You can use contact cleaner to help remove the existing corrosion. However, my experience has not been so great once corrosion takes hold...even if I clean it off.

One of the criticisms of DRL is that DRL only lights up the headlights. No tail lights. And the headlights are lit at reduced intensity too.
