Cab for super cab truck

Hi, anybody got a 73-79 cab for a super cab truck in California? My roof rusted out so since my son is a welder we were just going to weld in a good used one then I got the idea of swapping cabs and if I’m going to that much trouble why not make my regular bump cab a super bump cab. Lengthening the frame is no problem for my son and we are putting a T5 in which has a longer tail housing so we are going to have to change the driveshaft anyway.....

they didn't make a bump side supercab. so what exactly are you planing on doing? are you going to take the "dent" out and weld in a bump? or extend your regular cab to a supercab?

I’ve got two extra doors to take the bump out for the cab. Mine is a 69 but even though I replaced the interior flapper door handles it never opens right so I got a pair of 67 doors with old fashioned handles.

I have a super cab parts truck the outer roof skin is the so nice it's the only reason I haven't cut the cab up. I'm in Oregon around the Portland area. If you want more information pm me.

Hi Justin, have you got a photo? The other question is how much? I’ll have to talk to my son to see if he’s up to a road trip like that or maybe get a hitch for my Escape. Thanks, Dennis

I have a 79 SC has a 6x6 rust area in the driver' side pan, not on any supporting structures. Pass door has bondo, not from rust though. Most of the interior will be gone. This is a donor . In Clovis ca if interested I could send pics. I am at the coast right now, but have pics in phone.

Yeah I can pics tomorrow. I'll send you a pm with the price I'm thinking. Tomorrow also. I honestly think you could find one closer to home.

If I didnt already have too many projects, I would be making a Superbump truck. I think they look pretty cool.
Here is one with a 7.3 diesel swap.
