what does the hood release spring look like?

Im missing this piece and wonder if someone can either describe or post a pic of it. Any sources for this part?

What year is your truck?

Do you really live in Timbuctoo? I was watching a rerun of Huell Howser's California Gold TV show where he went there.

Not much remains, the only building collapsed.
