title says it all, does the lariat black appearance package come with the front plastic liners? or do I need to order those before my truck arrives?

 

The front are the formed felt liners.

For some reason, you cant order front liners with the black appearance pkg. Really odd.

I put some in myself.

 

Correct. When I did the special order on my truck I questioned that with the dealer, they threw them in for free (big deal, they are what $75?) and installed them over the felt liners after the truck arrived. Took them about 20 minutes to install them.

 

I installed them myself also.

 

Same, black appearance pack and I installed the fronts. Looks much better and easier to clean…

 

Was it necessary to remove the plastic fender flares from the Lariat prior to installing the wheel liners?

 

My ‘21 Lariat did not come with flares, but the liner gets pulled under the factory screws that you loosen prior to sliding the taps under, if you have factory front mud flaps they have to be removed (temporarily) as the liner fits behind as well.

 

No. They did not remove the fender flares when they installed the plastic liners over the felt liners on my truck.

added mine over the felt. so easy to clean. Dont understand the felt liners, other than sound proofing ?
