Hope that I can save enough money to buy my black oak light bars or like yours. But thank you once again for great step by step instruction you created!

I like it. Thinking about doing this as well.

If one only installed one bar to cut some cost, which mounting location would be best in your setup? Higher or lower? Most single bars I see are mounted low at / near the bumper, does a higher mount have any advantage. At work we have some vehicles with roof mounted lights. My experience with driving them when it's snowing is that the light gets too washed out by reflecting off the falling flakes and you see more by shutting them off. Is the lower bar in your setup more restricted in its illumination pattern? So far I'm thinking the higher grill mount would be better.

Do the lower mount, you can use bolts and washers through existing holes to attach the mount.. I had to use a couple nutserts on the upper mount.

Damn. I think you just inspired another addition to my mod list. That's awesome.

And I laughed just a little, I was reminded of the old joke "You know how to tell you're talking to a pilot?".

I'm an Avionics tech/mechanic, also fly on the side as a hobby.

@IamLee

Sick looking setup.. was wondering if you'd be interested in helping out getting bottom one installed, I live close by Edgewood, since I don't want to mess it up. PM me if so.
