I cut up my Platnum grill

I believe they used 40” but I believe yours might be 50”? And good job on the installation, it’s a superb!!! Im going to use your step by step guide to install mine but Im going to use the security bolts instead of regular bolts. Hope that I can save enough money to buy my black oak light bars or like yours. But thank you once again for great step by step instruction you created!
Mine are 41.5”.

I like it. Thinking about doing this as well.
If one only installed one bar to cut some cost, which mounting location would be best in your setup? Higher or lower? Most single bars I see are mounted low at / near the bumper, does a higher mount have any advantage. At work we have some vehicles with roof mounted lights. My experience with driving them when it's snowing is that the light gets too washed out by reflecting off the falling flakes and you see more by shutting them off. Is the lower bar in your setup more restricted in its illumination pattern? So far I'm thinking the higher grill mount would be better.
